Question: Is gdi the best affiliate marketing opportunity?

I joined GDI and got two websites, www.howland.ws and www.dennishowland.ws. I am new to affiliate marketing. Did I make a wise choice to join GDI? Nothing is happening with my websites so far. Am I doing something wrong? How do I get traffic to these sites? Is there a better, more lucrative affiliate program that I could consider?

Doesn't the word SCAM mean anything to you? turn of your computer and peripherals, you will save more money a month on your electric bill then you will ever make with these scams........

There are thousands of affiliate programs to "promote ". Google and its affiliate network keeps pumping out more companies for "affiliate marketers " to promote. There is nothing scam like about making money on the internet, except for those people who create these "money making opportunities " websites and promise people that they if they "buy into their promises " and claims of making tons of cash with very little effort. You may have the greatest looking money making site in the world, but if you do not understand how to bring traffic to the site, its pretty useless! I used GDI for a while and it is a poor opportunity to make money. You can make money from it in 3 ways. site builder/ hosting service network money making opportunity create content on your website for a market and then promote it 1 -You can try to get people to buy the same website hosting/ builder that you did through your GDI affiliate link. The premise to make money in this way relies on a network marketing effect, as a money making opportunity. GDI is very poor platform for this. 2 - And as far as web services go, unfortunately with so many free website and blogs and not to mention other website builder/ hosting plans being of superior value, GDI is a poor sell for this to. 3 - To create content for your site is a pretty wide open opportunity. The hardest part is actually learning how to be a market researcher, a salesman or sales presenter, a writer, a bit of a web-internet technician, a market promoter and an entrepreneur! But there is lots of money to be made in this area. You just can't buy something off the internet that tells you that you can make fabulous money with it. With the thousands of different things anyone can market and promote on the internet its a pretty big playing field for most. You just need to learn about the basics of keyword and market research. There is lots of places where you can learn where and how to start. Try these places to start learning. Even look at squidoo.com!

I tried GDI twice. Once just to see how it went and the second time because I thought that it might have been my sponsor the first time. Both times I failed miserably. Here is the problem with GDI it is a fake product. Ex. I buy CDx and on CDx I learn how to sell CDx to other people. The people in turn sell CDx. CDx is not a real product and has no real value. Like GDI. Most people who are making money with GDI got in on the ground floor and are on top on the pyramid. Affiliate marketing can be very lucrative but the program depends on you. If I were you I would start with clickbank or commission junction. they have a lot of products and are free and easy to join. Some good ways to generate traffic I would say, try MSN adcenter. Google of course is the best (accounting for about 80% of all Global traffic) but the price per click is very high. So MSN would be best if you are starting out. One good free method would be youtube not for GDI b/ c youtube is saturated with GDI videos but for another digital product from clickbank or commission junction. Just down load a free screen capture product like cam studios and demo the product you are promoting. Upload your video and put your referral link in the description.

Hi, I looked at your sites and I'm amazed they are still showing pretty much the same promo video as the one I saw back in 2005. The promo is alright but you need something extra, something unique and of value to offer your prospects so they buy from you. After all, why should they necessarily buy from you when there are loads of other people with sites offering the same thing? GDI is OK if you are already familiar with the Affiliate Marketing method but if you're not, then it is important to get some 'real' training. By real, I mean someone who is actually doing what they teach. Unfortunately there are a lot of those so called "gurus " to love to "talk the talk " but if you were to sit them in front of a computer and ask them to show you how to make money from affiliate marketing it would take them a long time to put their theories into practice let alone have any success from them. So where can you find such a person? One who is doing what they teach? Here comes the sales bit, but this is a genuine opportunity, and one I know will help many people. I cannot give much information away at this stage as the program isn't starting until Monday 22nd June, but I do know the person promoting it and he is one of those rare people who teaches what he is doing and you could apply what you learn to your GDI sites if you wish.
